This exit button is ideal for applications where the user needs to release a door without physically touching a button e.g. food preparation, clean rooms, laboratories and hospitals.
The internal relay is activated when an object enters the detection field, to open the door without encouraging the spread of contamination.
Note: the surface-mount version includes a matching surface box.
