The Vanderbilt V42 Keypad (Formally Known As The Bewator K42) quickly became highly acclaimed and a widely recognised keypad entry system, that has gained a strong reputation for its user-friendly programming and unwavering reliability. The V42 keypad features a dual-code configuration, allowing for the programming of two separate codes, to enable the allocation of one code for staff or residents and a second code for delivery staff, contractors, and other authorised personnel. With internal jumper pins, the V42 allows for the easy setup of two codes, each consisting of four digits.

Designed with durability in mind, the V42 keypad boasts a cast metal housing that guarantees long-lasting performance, combined with stainless steel backlit buttons to enhance visibility and ease of use, even in low-light conditions.

Following the acquisition of Siemens Security Products (USA), by Vanderbilt in 2015, the Bewator K42 was rebranded as the Vanderbilt V42. Despite the name change, the Vanderbilt V42 keypad maintains the same high quality and reliability that customers have come to expect, while now benefitting from Vanderbilt's extensive expertise and innovative advancements in access control systems.

As a result of the rebrand, the Bewator K42 is a discontinued product.
