Introducing the powerful 1200lb Magnetic Shear Lock, a reliable solution for secure door access control and is designed for doors that can swing up to 180 degrees. The concealed magnetic mechanism ensures enhanced security and convenience.

When the door is closed, the shear lock's magnet engages with the armature plate, drawing it up into the lock frame. To achieve optimal performance, a 2-3 mm gap between the top of the door and the frame is recommended, allowing the electromagnet to attract the armature plate and securely lock the door in place.

Choose From Two Models In The BVS-SHR-1500 Shearlock Series:

BVS-SHR-1500 standard unmonitored version

BVS-SHR-1500M more advanced option that features hall-effect monitoring. This incorporates a switch-contact output (SPDT rated 3.0A @ 12V DC) through hall-effect monitoring, for applications that require enhanced oversight.
