Designed for seamless integration, the HID Signo 40 Reader supports communication via Wiegand, Clock-and-Data and RS-485 Half Duplex using OSDP. This makes it suitable for use with a wide variety of access control systems, while also supporting more secure and manageable reader communication where OSDP is used.
The reader is compatible with credentials including Seos, iCLASS SE®, iCLASS SR®, iCLASS®, MIFARE Classic and MIFARE DESFire EV1/EV2, giving organisations the flexibility to work with existing card estates or migrate towards more secure credential platforms.
